Dedicated Servers

For most individuals or small to medium businesses, one of our shared hosting plans provides all the web space and bandwidth you need. However, some businesses or even individuals, have special technical needs. For these customers we will be offering dedicated servers to host your website(s).

Secured server racks for our Dialup, email and web servers.
Shared vs. Dedicated
Shared hosting is where multiple websites are located on a single server. Properly powered and configured servers can easily handle 100's of websites. Be wary of hosting companies that try to cram thousands of websites on a single server. These companys only care about the bottom line, not the performance of your website!
These websites all share the resources of this one server. As such, each website is given a reasonable amount of system resources to power your site. If your site exceeds your package limits, such that it impacts the performance of the other sites on the server, and a package upgrade would not address the needs of the site*, you may need to consider moving your site(s) to a dedicated server.
A dedicated server is your server. You have total control. This server is dedicated or reserved just for you and your services. With a dedicated server, you don't have to worry about someone else's website using your resources.

All of our dedicated servers come pre-installed with the Linux Operating system and the DirectAdmin hosting control panel. If desired, we can also install Webmin or any other needed applications for you (extra fees may apply for custom installs over an above the default DirectAdmin install).

*We offer various shared hosting packages, if your website all of a sudden gets more popular, you can add more bandwidth or server space to your account without requiring a dedicated server. A dedicated server is typically needed when you need full control over your server, or your site requires excessive amounts of disk space or bandwidth.
