Etiquette guidelines for behaviour on the Internet, in particular with regard to posting messages to newsgroups and e-mail.

Netizen
A member of the global Net community. The term implies civic responsibility and participation.

newbie
A new user on the Internet or an online service. Often used as an insult or slam.

Newsgroup
An online discussion group on a particular topic.

NNTP - Network News Transfer Protocol
Just like HTTP, but for newsgroups.
